I hope you will be interested in attending this year's talk in the Leigh
Village Hall: (in aid of the Poppy Appeal)
poppy

'CARIBBEAN 2017 HURRICANE RELIEF' on FRIDAY 8 NOVEMBER.

(For more details please click here)

This year, I am particularly pleased to have secured someone who is
local, young and female to do us the honour - Lieutenant Commander Amy
Gilmore, who is a resident of Yetminster.

Amy won a Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service for her exploits -
and it is indeed some story.  Perhaps you have already seen the advert
in October's Wriggle Valley magazine, which is attached for information.
This year, all proceeds will go to the Royal British Legion.

DOORS OPEN AT 7.00PM LEIGH VILLAGE HALL ON FRIDAY 8 NOVEMBER with
complementary wine and canapés.  The talk itself starts at 7.30PM.
TICKETS are £7.50; they are available:

      * at the door on the night,
    * or from the Leigh Village stores,
    * and, if you wish to make an advance reservation (for ticket
collection and payment at the door on the night), please contact me by
email or on 01935 872664

I would be very grateful if you would pass this information on to
others in your circle, and sincerely hope that you and your friends will
once again be willing to support these most worthwhile of causes.
